In the run-up to Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed anticipation for an interaction with Tamil Nadu BJP workers titled "Enathu Booth Valimaiyana Booth" through the NaMo App at 5 PM on Friday. He commended the hard work of BJP workers in Tamil Nadu for effectively communicating the party's good governance agenda.












Taking to X, Narendra Modi said, "I look forward to ‘Enathu Booth Valimaiyana Booth’, an interaction with our hardworking @BJP4TamilNadu Karyakartas, through the NaMo App at 5 PM this evening. It is commendable how our Karyakartas in Tamil Nadu are working among the people and ensuring that our Party’s good governance agenda is communicated effectively across the state. It is equally true that TN is fed up with DMK misrule and is looking towards our Party with great hope."

 





 

 


 

This is the first Lok Sabha Elections, BJP is set to face after AIADMK severed its ties in Tamil Nadu. In Tamil Nadu, BJP is in alliance with AMMK and PMK among other parties.

 














The BJP has nominated K Annamalai, the state unit chief, to contest from Coimbatore, while former Telangana governor Tamilisai Soundararajan will run in Chennai South and Union Minister L Murugan in Nilgiris. Additionally, the party has fielded T R Paarivendhar, the founder of Indhiya Jananayaga Katchi and sitting MP, from Perambalur. Pon Radhakrishnan, a former Union minister, will contest from Kanniyakumari, Vinoj P Selvam from Chennai Central, AC Shanmugam from Vellore, C Narasimhan from Krishnagiri, and Nainar Nagendran from Thoothukkudi.
