As the first phase of Lok Sabha election is underway in Karnataka, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government in Bijapur of the state. Addressing the crowd, Gandhi accused the Modi administration of enriching a select few at the expense of the vast majority of the population.

At the rally, Rahul Gandhi alleged, "Narendra Modi ji has made 20-25 people billionaires in the last 10 years. They have handed over everything - airports, ports, electricity, mines, solar-wind power, defence sector - to Adani and billionaires like him. But nothing was given to the poor."

Highlighting the stark economic disparities in the country, Gandhi claimed that Modi's policies have only widened the gap between the rich and the poor. "Narendra Modi ji has only snatched money from the poor in the last 10 years. He gave as much wealth to 22 people of the country as 70 crore people of the country have," he alleged.

Promising an alternative vision for economic development, Gandhi asserted that the Congress party would prioritize the welfare of the common people. "The Congress Party will give you participation by eliminating unemployment and inflation. The amount of money that Narendra Modi has given to the billionaires, we will give that much money to the poor people of India," he vowed.

Continuing his criticism, Gandhi accused Modi of favoring a select few while neglecting the needs of the masses. "Narendra Modi makes some people billionaires, the Congress government will make crores of people lakhpatis," he proclaimed.

In a sharp remark aimed at Modi's recent public appearances, Gandhi remarked, "These days Narendra Modi remains very nervous during his speeches. Maybe in a few days, he might shed tears on stage."
