Earlier, the AAP had written to the Election Commission of India, seeking a change in the polling date for the Chhattisgarh Assembly election. In their letter, the AAP has proposed moving the polling date from the 17th of November to the 25th of November. The party's request is rooted in the cultural significance of Chhath, a widely celebrated festival, which coincides with the initially scheduled polling date.
