New Delhi: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Sunday said that the Mahayuti alliance is determined to secure victory in 45 seats in the state during the upcoming Lok Sabha polls to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision to make India a top economy.

  


According to PTI, CM Shinde inaugurated various projects and laid the foundation stones for others in Kalyan, which is the Lok Sabha constituency represented by his son, Shrikant Shinde. While addressing a gathering, the Chief Minister underscored the achievements of the state government across diverse sectors and the benefits of a double engine government.   


"Maharashtra will support PM Modi's vision of making the country a top economy by electing 45 MPs (out of 48)," PTI quoted Shinde as saying. Notably, the Prime Minister had said India would soon become a USD 5 trillion economy and was poised to become the growth engine of the world in the coming years.


Mahayuti Alliance Comprise BJP, Shiv Sena Led By Shinde, And Ajit Pawar-Led Nationalist Congress Party


The ruling parties of the Mahayuti alliance comprise the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Shiv Sena led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) led by Ajit Pawar.

CM Shinde said that the cashless facilities will be introduced in all state hospitals, complementing a recent increase in medical benefits from Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh. Additionally, he highlighted the positive impact of free health check-ups, which have already benefited approximately 4 crore women, PTI reported.


"Maharashtra is leading in foreign investment, infrastructure development, and adding substantially to GDP", CM Shinde remarked.


CM Shinde outlined plans for the construction of the Mumbai-Goa greenfield super expressway. He said that ongoing industrial developments are poised to generate employment opportunities for around 3 lakh individuals, contributing to economic growth and prosperity in Maharashtra. CM Shinde underscored the inclusive approach of the interim budget for 2024-25 underscores an inclusive approach, catering to all sections of society.
