Day after the Exit Poll predictions in Maharashtra projected a win for the ruling Mahayuti alliance after polling concluded in the 288 assembly seats, two latest pollsters have predicted a landslide victory for the NDA alliance.   

The Axis My India poll projections showed the Mahayuti alliance getting 178-200 seats out of 288 seats in Maharashtra, while the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) getting 82-102 seats.

Meanwhile, the BJP was projected to be the largest party with 92-107 seats, followed by Shinde's Shiv Sena with 53-58 seats and Ajit Pawar's NCP getting 25-30 seats. On the Maha Vikas Aghadi camp, the Congress was expected to get 28-36 seats, Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena with 26-32 seats and Sharad Pawar's NCP getting 26-30 seats.

In terms of the vote share projection, Mahayuti is expected to lead with 48 per cent votes, while the opposition MVA getting 37 per cent, and Others getting 12 per cent. 

Today's Chanakya Exit Polls predicted a clear win for the BJP-led alliance in Maharashtra, with the Mahayuit getting 175 ± 11 seats, while the MVA expected to get 100 ± 11 seats. Meanwhile, smaller parties and Independent candidates are likely to account for 13 ± 5 seats.

In terms of vote share, the Mahayuti is likely to get 45% ± 3% vote share, while the MVA is expected to get 39% ± 3%.

However, the C-Voter survey showed a tight contest in the state with a slight edge of the ruling Mahayuti. According to the C-Voter survey, the Mahayuti is expected to get 112 of 288 seats, while the Maha Vikas Aghadi may get 104 seats. It further said that there is a close call in 61 seats in the state.

When it comes to the Chief Minister's choice in Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde leads as the top choice for the CM's chair with an approval of 31 per cent and Devendra Fadnavis from the ruling camp has an approval rating of 12 per cent.

On the opposition side, Uddhav Thackeray has the support of 18 per cent participants, while Sharad Pawar is the choice of 5 per cent participants.

On Wednesday, the Matrize and Chanakya Strategies gave at least 150 seats to the ruling alliance and the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi was projected to get around 130 seats. The Matrize gave 150-170 seats to the BJP+ alliance, while the MVA is projected to get 110-130 seats, while the Chanakya Strategies projected the NDA alliance getting 152-160 seats and the MVA 130-138 seats. 

The Dainik Bhaskar Exit Poll gave a lead to the opposition alliance, predicting 135-150 seats for the Maha Vikas Aghadi and 125-140 seats for the NDA alliance. Similarly, the Lokshahi Marathi-Rudra gave only 128-142 seats to the Mahayuti, 125-140 seats to the MVA, and left 18-23 for other parties.

The result of the Maharashtra assembly election will be announced on November 23.
