New Delhi: Former union minister from Congress and the party's former state chief Arun Yadav who has been pitted against Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in his home turf Budhni, will file his nomination on Friday.


Yadav took to Twitter and thanked Congress president Rahul Gandhi for entrusting him with the responsibility. “I have very closely observed people’s grievances and hence I will continue fighting for farmers, youth, and female", he wrote in his tweet.

Ahead of filing his nominations, he claimed that he will defeat Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the upcoming assembly polls in his own constituency. “We'll defeat Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Proud that my party gave me a huge responsibility. We’ll win Budhni.We'll ask Shivraj ji about land mafia, farmers' suicide and rape cases. We'll expose BJP,” News agency ANI quoted Yadav as saying.
