Lok Sabha Results: After a marathon polling across 543 Lok Sabha seats in seven phases, all eyes are on June 4 (Tuesday) when the counting of votes will start across the country.


The counting of votes for all the seats will start at 8 am on Tuesday and continue until the last vote is counted.


The voting for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, covering 543 constituencies, started on April 19, followed by the second phase on April 26, the third phase on May 7, the fourth phase on May 13, the fifth phase on May 20, the sixth phase on May 25 and the last phase on June 1.


The results will also be announced in Delhi where the Lok Sabha contest took place in seven seats. Prominent candidates in the national capital inlcude AAP's Somnath Bharti, BJP candidates Manoj Tiwari and Bansuri Swaraj, and Congress' Kanhaiya Kumar. 


Prime Minister Narendra Modi's BJP is eyeing a third term, while the opposition INDIA bloc is looking for a comeback. The exit polls have predicted a clear majority for the NDA with over 350 seats while the opposition alliance is expected to get around 150-180 seats.


The votes for the assembly elections in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh will also be counted on Tuesday along with the by-elections to a few assembly seats in other states.
