Raebareli Lok Sabha Results Early Trends: As the counting of votes in the Lok Sabha elections began on Tuesday, all eyes are set on Uttar Pradesh's Raeebareli constituency. Raebareli, a Congress bastion, witnessed a fierce battle between senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP's) Dinesh Pratap Singh.
According to early trends, the I.N.D.IA bloc is leading on the seat followed by the NDA bloc. Congress's Rahul Gandhi is leading and he is trailed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP's) Dinesh Pratap Singh. Besides the BJP and the Congress, the Mayawati-led Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has also fielded Thakur Prasad Yadav.
The Lok Sabha elections were held in seven phases from April 19 to June 1. The Raebareli Lok Sabha seat is crucial, as this is one of the two seats that Congress did not lose even in the Modi wave during the 2014 Lok Sabha polls when the BJP vested powers from Congress.

In Uttar Pradesh, as per ABP News-CVoter exit polls, In UP, the I.N.D.I.A bloc was likely to win anywhere between 15 and 17 seats with a vote share of 36.9%, while the BJP-led NDA was predicted to win 62-66 seats with 44.1% of the votes in its favour.
According to the exit polls, the NDA was set to retain its power at the Centre with a thumping victory. The ABP-CVoter survey, the BJP-led alliance was projected to win 353 to 383 seats out of the total 543 Lok Sabha seats.
