In previous elections, the BJP and its allies have maintained a stronghold in Maharashtra. In 2014, the BJP-led alliance won 42 seats, and in 2019, they secured 41 seats. This election, however, reflected a more competitive landscape due to the recent splits within major political parties.

The outcome of the Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra is expected to influence the upcoming state assembly elections, With Maharashtra being the second-largest contingent to the Lok Sabha after Uttar Pradesh, the results here could shape the formation of the central government.

As the counting of the votes nears the end, these trends may evolve, providing further clarity on the final picture of the Lok Sabha 2024 election results.
