Lok Sabha Elections: As Arvind Kejriwal sounded the poll bugle for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Delhi, the Bharatiya Janata Party slammed the Aam Aadmi Party, stating that the party's national convenor will be behind the bars soon. Taking a potshot at AAP's Lok Sabha Election Campaign, BJP MP from Delhi North East, Manoj Tiwari stated: "The slogan Delhi is raising is 'Sharab bechta Kejriwal, Dilli ko kardiya behaal; Dilli ki galliyan hain badhaal, jail mein hoga Kejriwal'."

Lambasting AAP's election campaign, BJP Delhi unit Chief Virendraa Sachdeva stated that the Delhi CM talks about 'khushhal' and what he has done is only to loot the people of the national capital, and betraying people is the mere achievement of his government.

On AAP's Delhi Lok Sabha campaign 'Sansad main bhi Kejriwal, tabhi Delhi hogi aur khushhal,' Delhi BJP President Virendraa Sachdeva took a swipe at the Arvind Kejriwal-led party, remarking, "9 saal Kejriwal, loot, bhrashtachar aur Delhi behaal' this is their campaign... The entire Delhi knows that during COVID-19, when the people of the capital were frightened, where were Kejriwal and his MLAs then?"

"He talks about 'khushhal' and what he has done is only to loot the people of Delhi... Betraying people is the mere achievement of Arvind Kejriwal's government." Sachdeva added.

Meanwhile, the AAP on Friday lashed out at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party government and dubbed the saffron party as "arrogant."

Calling out the BJP's "ab ki baar 400 paar" slogan, AAP's Chief National Spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar stated that only people can decide which government will be formed at the centre and "not any political party." Priyanka Kakkar further stated that if all seven candidates of the I.N.D.I.A. alliance win, it will strengthen Arvind Kejriwal to fulfil the needs of the people.

"Today we have launched our Lok Sabha campaign, through which we want to convey that 'Sansad Me Bhi Kejriwal To Delhi Hogi Aur Khushhaal'. BJP MPs have created hurdles in the work that has to be done for the people of Delhi by aligning with the LG. If all seven candidates of the INDIA alliance win, it will strengthen Arvind Kejriwal to fulfil the needs of the people, Kakkar said.

Continuing her attack on the saffron party, she said, "The BJP doesn't need the votes of the people of Delhi. The BJP has arrogance, only people can decide this (on 'ab ki baar 400 paar' slogan) and not any political party. People will reply to this arrogance."
