New Delhi: As the BJP readies to face the floor test on Saturday in Karnataka Assembly as ordered by the Supreme Court, speculations are rife that 10 non-BJP MLAs are in contact with BJP and can change the number game at the final moment.

As per sources  MLAs Anand Singh, Pratap Gowda Patil, B Narayan Rao, Koujalagi Mahantesh, Amaregouda Bayyapur, D S Holageri, Rajshekhar Patil, Venkat Rao Nadagouda, H Nagesh, R Shankar are in close contact with the BJP and can turn the tables during the floor test.

Of these, Venkat Rao Nadagouda is a JDS MLA, H Nagesh is an independent MLA and R Shankar is from KPJP.

Rest seven MLAs are from Congress.

Allegations of poaching are already mounting up on BJP since the day of verdict. The Congress has alleged that the BJP is attempting to poach its MLAs to join its camp so that the road gets easier for the saffron party to form the government.

Karnataka Congress MLA DS Holageri had on Thursday stirred up the apprehensions when he said that the BJP had invited him for talks but he chose not to go.

Later Congress MLA Ramalinga Reddy said “after the police was withdrawn from outside Eagleton Resort (where Congress had lodged its MLAs), they (BJP) came inside & offered money. Constantly they have been calling people on phone.”

On Wednesday, JDS leader HD Kumaraswamy made a sensational claim accusing the BJP of offering Rs 100 crore to each of his MLAs.

"JD(S) MLAs are being offered Rs 100 crore each. Where is this black money coming from? They are supposedly the servers of poor people and they are offering money today. Where are the income tax officials," Kumaraswamy asked.
