Bengaluru (Karnataka): Amid polling in Karnataka, BJP’s chief ministerial candidate BS Yeddyurappa on Saturday hubristically claimed that his party will grab at least 150 seats out of 224. Exuding confidence, the Linagayat leader said on the day of counting of votes he will go to New Delhi to invite PM Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah for the swearing-in ceremony. “We will get 145-150 seats and I will form the government by evening of May 17.”

When asked about the BJP strongman’s comments, chief minister Siddaramaiah said, “he is mentally disturbed.” On how many seats he is predicting for his party, the CM said, “the Congress party will win over 120 seats.”

He also said that the Congress party will come back to power with absolute majority.

To a question posed by a ABP News reporter on PM Narendra Modi visiting temples in Nepal and BS Yeddyurappa going to a temple before polling, Siddaramaiah said, “I don’t visit temples. God is within. I always have the blessings of the almighty.”

Siddaramaiah is contesting from two seats - Chamundeshwari and Badami. BS Yeddyurappa is the BJP candidate from Shikaripura.

The results of the Karnataka elections will come on May 15.
