Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath urged the people of poll-bound Jharkhand to vote for BJP, saying it will "bulldoze" mafia just like in UP. He also accused the JMM-led coalition in Jharkhand of "patronising" the mafia.
"The JMM-led coalition is patronising mafia in sectors, such as land, sand, forest, mining, and liquor, in Jharkhand...Like UP, bring the BJP to power in Jharkhand to bulldoze mafia," he claimed while addressing an election rally in Koderma.
Congress Created Obstacles During Ram Temple Construction
Adityanath accused Congress of "creating obstacles" to the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
"BJP is the guarantee of country's security, self-respect, employment, women empowerment. BJP is also the guarantee of the coordination between development and heritage...Today, you are witnessing the leadership of PM Modi. You would have also witnessed the grand celebration of deepotsav after 500 years in Ayodhya," he said.
Adityanath also alleged that the JMM-led coalition "looted" the country's wealth like Aurangzeb. "There was one Aurangzeb who looted the country and destroyed our sacred temples and there is one Alamgir (Alam), the minister of JMM government, here in Jharkhand who looted the poor of this state and bundles of cash were recovered from his house and his relatives' house," the chief minister said.
Elections to the 81-member Jharkhand assembly will be held in two phases on November 13 and 20, while the counting of votes will take place on November 23.
