Jammu and Kashmir Election 2004 Schedule: The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir will go to polls for the first time in 10 years. There will be 3.72 lakh youths voting in the Jammu and Kashmir elections this year, of which 20.7 lakhs will be first-time voters. All 90 assembly constituencies will vote in three phases — on September 18, September 25, and October 1.

Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said, "There are a total of 90 assembly constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir, of which 74 are general, SC-7 and ST-9." CEC Rajiv Kumar further said there will be 11,858 polling stations at 9,169 locations. He said as many as 87.09 lakh voters would vote in the J&K polls this year. Of these 44.46 lakhs will be men, while 42.62 lakhs will be women voters. 

The final electoral rolls will be published on August 20.

The results for the Jammu & Kashmir election 2024 will be declared on October 4.
