J&K Election Phase 2: With visible reduction in militancy and stone pelting, Kashmir’s capital Srinagar turned out to vote Wednesday demanding poverty alleviation, taming inflation and job generation.
Srinagar, Kashmir: In a visible change since May 2024 when the Lok Sabha polls took place in Kashmir for the first time since abrogation of Article 370 and people in the valley were demanding for its restoration, during the ongoing local assembly polls there is a clear shift towards issues such as alleviation of poverty, controlling spiralling inflation and job creation.
