Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP Chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is all set to launch a bus yatra 'Memanta Siddham' as part of the election campaign for the upcoming general and assembly elections in the state. The party is set to release full details on the campaign on Wednesday. Following the bus campaign, the YSRCP is also prepared to conduct an election campaign meeting in the state.














Additionally, the party has resolved to organize sabhas across all regions, with names of leaders already finalised for the address.














"Now district-wise (parliamentary constituencies) bus campaign will be scheduled. Further, Y S Jagan is set to hit the ground during the bus yatra. The bus yatra will start in another week, probably from the 26th or 27th of this month, and it will last for 21 days," according to the press release.


The campaign will take place through four bus yatras in one district every day, except on those days when preparatory meetings are scheduled. As part of the interaction, suggestions would be received from the people to further improve the performance of the government.


Andhra Pradesh Elections 2024


Andhra Pradesh is gearing up for elections across its 25 constituencies, scheduled to take place on May 13, 2024, in a single phase. The state also has 25 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state.


This election season, YSRCP chief Jagan announced that they would contest alone in Lok Sabha and assembly polls 2024. 


Meanwhile, Jana Sena entered the fray in alliance with the BJP and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Andhra Pradesh. According to the seat-sharing agreement among the alliance partners, the BJP will field candidates in six Lok Sabha seats, while the TDP will contest in 17 constituencies, marking a strategic distribution of electoral responsibilities.
