On Tuesday, reports emerged, that the opposition's I.N.D.I.A bloc approached Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to make a comeback again to the alliance.
Interestingly, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav was also spotted in the same flight as Nitish Kumar today, flying to Delhi.
It was confirmed on Tuesday that Nitish Kumar will be flying to Delhi on June 5 for the NDA meeting.
According to ABP News sources, Congress's priority is not to lead goevrnment by itself. The party has kept the option of supporting smaller allies open in the government.
The top leaders will also brief the other alliance leaders in the meeting regarding the talks held yesterday with Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar. The bloc will likely have a discussion on how to bring the Nitish Kumar-led JDU and Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP on board, sources say.
Rahul Gandhi, on whether the I.N.D.I.A bloc will reach out to parties for a possible government formation, has said on June 4 that "a meeting with partners will be held tomorrow and these questions will be raised there. We respect our alliance partners and we will not make any announcements in the press without asking them and their opinions."
Sources also told ABP News that the I.N.D.I.A bloc is aware that the President will first call NDA and thus, the opposition alliance will keep a watch and do act according to the situation. It is also said that the bloc might also discuss the question of PMShip if any ally brings it up.
