DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin on Saturday announced the commencement of the party's campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections by citing DMK MP Kanimozhi's public meeting in Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu on Friday. Asserting the party's commitment to reclaiming Tamil Nadu's rights, Stalin emphasised the campaign's broader mission to resonate across India and counter fascism.
Taking to X, CM Stalin said, "DMK started parliamentary election campaign! This voice, which has started sounding in the southern tip of India to restore the rights of Tamilnadu, will echo in the north and restore the pride of India! Fascism will fall! #INDIA wins!"

In a post on X, Kanimozhi on the party meeting said, "Our party's campaign rally in Tirunelveli heralded the impending victory of the I.N.D.I.A. bloc in the forthcoming parliamentary elections. We must recognize that the triumph of the BJP, which deceives people from all backgrounds and fosters division, is a blow to Indian democracy. Down with fascism! Let India emerge victorious!"
It may be recalled that DMK started the seat-sharing talks with all its alliance partners including Congress, Left parties and VCK. Earlier, CM Stalin also urged the party workers to strive to bag all 39 seats in Tamil Nadu and lone seat in Puducherry in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
