The Aam Aadmi Party unveiled its candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024. According to the Parliamentary Affairs Committee, under the 4-3 agreement with the Congress, Somnath Bharti will contest from New Delhi, Mahabal Mishra from West Delhi, Kuldeep Kumar Monu from East Delhi, Sahi Ram Pehelwan from South Delhi, and Sushil Gupta will contest from Kurukshetra, the sole seat AAP will contest in Haryana.

In other political developments, the Congress raised concerns in the Punjab Assembly, focusing on Minimum Support Price (MSP) for crops and the Old Pension Scheme (OPS). Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann countered, stating that the State's Budget for 2024-25 serves as a roadmap for Punjab's progress and prosperity.

During the Budget discussion, Leader of the Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa reminded AAP of its pre-poll promises, specifically addressing the absence of MSP discussions for crops in the Budget. Bajwa questioned the AAP's backtrack on the commitment to procure 22 crops at MSP, emphasizing the farmers' demands for clarity on this issue.

Congress MLA Amarinder Singh Raja Warring raised doubts about the sincerity of the OPS implementation, alleging that the notification made in 2022 was merely a political move to garner votes in other states.

Responding to criticisms, Bhagwant Mann expressed disappointment in the Opposition's actions, calling them irresponsible and attention-seeking. He highlighted that constructive suggestions were welcome in a healthy democracy but criticized the Opposition, particularly the Congress, for staging walkouts to gain media attention.
