Chief Minister Gehlot urged people to vote for all sitting MLAs in the district during a rally in Dausa on Friday. Gehlot also urged people to vote for the Congress's sitting MLAs in Dausa district, Parsadi Lal Meena, Mamta Bhupesh, Murari Lal Meena, and GR Khatana.
The Chief Minister also named Omprakash Hudla, an independent MLA who has backed the Congress government.
Gehlot's appeal was interpreted as an indication that the sitting legislators he named, including the independent MLA, were likely to receive a ticket.
The Chief Minister also emphasised his government's schemes and programmes, stating that the election would be fought on the basis of the government's performance.
Dausa has five assembly seats, four of which are held by the Congress and one by independent MLA Hudla.
Rajasthan will hold elections on November 25.
The ballots will be counted on December 3.
