After the ruling Mahayuti emerged victorious in the Maharashtra Assembly election results on Saturday, the alliance leaders held grand celebrations to mark the landslide win. Amid these victory celebrations, a video of Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis being lifted in the arms by another party leader has surfaced online. The video has gone viral on social media.


Several leaders of the BJP had gathered to celebrate the saffron party's clean sweep in the state, but the highlight of the gathering turned out to be an excited and overwhlemed BJP leader Mohit Kamboj Bharatiya lifting Devendra Fadnavis in celebration. Bharatiya had lifted Fadnavis, lauding him for the victory in Maharashtra.


Thereafter, he also lifted BJP leader Chandrashekhar Krushnarao Bawankule as a sign of appreciation for the leaders' performance in the high-stakes battle.






Devendra Fadnavis won the Nagpur South West Assembly seat against Congress's Prafulla Vinodrao Gudadhe by a margin of 39,710 votes. The Deputy CM bagged 1,29,401 votes, while Gudadhe secured 89,691 votes.


Meanwhile, Bawankule has won the Kamthi seat by a margin of 40,946 votes against Congress's Suresh Yadavrao Bhoyar. While Bawankule secured 1,74,979 votes, the Congress candidate won 1,34,033 votes.


Following his victory, Fadnavis along with Bawankule visited Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to take his blessings.  "After the historic victory of BJP-MahaYuti, visited and took blessings of our leader, Hon Union Minister Nitin ji Gadkari, at his residence in Nagpur. Kanchan Vahini and the Gadkari family graciously did 'Aukshan' and warmly blessed me, as always. BJP State President Chandrashekhar Bawankule and Newly Elected MLA Praveen Datke were also present," the BJP leader shared on X.






Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis also visited his residence in Nagpur; where he received a warm welcome.






The BJP has won 132 seats while Shiv Sena and Nationalist Congress Party has won 57 and 41 seats. In MVA, the Shiv Sena (UBT) has bagged 20 seats, Congress 16 seats, and NCP-SP has won 10 seats.
