The second phase of Uttar Pradesh assembly elections is near with 55 seats going to polls in the state on February 14. It's also the date for single-phase elections for the formation of the legislative assemblies of Uttarakhand and Goa. Saturday is the last day for campaigning in these states, and hence political parties are all geared up to make the most of the day.


Yogi Adityanath, PM Narendra Modi, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi and Samajwadi Party's Akhilesh Yadav are all doing high-profile public rallies today. 


Like Friday, PM Modi will hold an election rally in both Uttarakhand and UP. He will address a rally in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, at 1.30 pm, and will reach UP at 3.30 pm for a rally in Kannauj.






Home Minister Amit Shah will also hold his last campaign rally for Uttarakhand on Saturday. Apart from Dehradun, Amit Shah will address public rallies in Dhanaulti, Sahaspur, Raipur and then Haridwar.


CM Yogi will hold three rallies in UP, returning from Uttarakhand on the last day of campaigning. Along with Behat and Deoband of Saharanpur, Yogi will hold a public meeting in Hasanpur of Amroha.


Akhilesh Yadav, who is challenging the Yogi government in UP, will also hold public meetings at three places today. Akhilesh has a campaign programme for two seats in Badaun and one seat in Shahjahanpur.






Priyanka Gandhi will campaign in Uttarakhand today. She will address a public meeting in Khatima at 11:45 am. After this, she will reach Srinagar where a rally is scheduled to he held at 2:35 pm.
