UP Elections: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be campaigning for the upcoming Assembly elections in Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh today. He will address two public rallies today. 


PM Modi will be in Uttarakhand's Almora that goes to polls on February 14, while he will address a public rally from UP's Kasganj district that will go to polls in the third phase of the UP Election, i.e. on February 20.


He will rally in Almora, Uttarakhand at 12 noon. Whereas, the PM will rally in Patiali, Kasganj, at 2.25 pm. In the rally, people from 8 assemblies of Kasganj, Etah, Farrukhabad, and Badaun will hear his address from the rally venue. In the rally, people will hear his address through LED broadcast at 89 places in 18 assemblies of Bareilly, Hathras, Firozabad, Etah, and Farrukhabad. 







This will be the first time in 53 years that a Prime Minister is visiting Kasganj. Before PM Modi, Indira Gandhi had reached here in 1969.


Along with PM Narendra Modi, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, Union Minister BL Verma, Union Minister Arjun Meghwal, State President Swatantra Dev Singh and MPs and MLAs of adjoining districts will also be present in the rally in Kasganj.


Through the rally in Patiali, PM Modi will try to make political equations by influencing many adjoining districts including Etah, Kasganj, Badaun, Farrukhabad, Mainpuri, Firozabad.


PM Modi has been in campaign mode for the last few days. He was in Goa on Thursday. Addressing a rally in Mapusa near Panaji days ahead of the election, PM Modi said Congress never understood the political culture and aspirations of youths of Goa and had been treating the state as its "enemy".
