New Delhi: As the assembly polls have begun in Uttar Pradesh and other key states, the number of rallies being held by star campaigners has also increased.
Today, as UP goes for the second phase of polling on 55 assembly seats in western UP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing a rally at Akbarpur in Kanpur (Dehat) at around 12 noon. The Jansabha will be telecast live on various platforms like BJP’s official Twitter handle and their YouTube channel as well.
After this Jansabha, PM Modi will address a rally in Punjab’s Jalandhar. He will be addressing the people at 3:45 PM.
On Sunday, PM Modi also met Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon of Radha Soami Satsang Beas. He wrote on his Twitter, “Earlier today, I had the honour of meeting Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon Ji of the Radha Soami Satsang Beas. The social service initiatives of the RSSB are commendable.”
Meanwhile, Home Minister Amit Shah will also hold rallies in different places in UP. BJP president JP Nadda will also be holding multiple rallies in UP today beginning at 12:05 PM.
Punjab will go to the polling on February 20 that will decide the 117 members of the state assembly.
On the other hand, Uttar Pradesh assembly elections have already begun. The second phase of polling is taking place today. The 403 assembly elections are scheduled to take place in seven phases. The results of all the state assemblies going to the polls will be declared on March 10, 2022.
