Ahead of the polling for the fifth phase of Lok Sabha polls, AAP national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held a roadshow in Amritsar in Punjab along with Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann.

The two AAP leaders were greeted by thousand of supporters holding the party flag.

Earlier today, Arvind Kejriwal and Mann arrived at the Golden Temple in Amritsar to pay obeisance. The AAP supremo was accompanied by Mann and the party's Amritsar candidate Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal.

Voting for all 13 Lok Sabha seats of Punjab is scheduled to happen on June 1.

On May 10, the Supreme Court granted Kejriwal interim bail till June 1, the last day of the seven-phase Lok Sabha elections, and directed him to surrender and go back to jail on June 2. The Delhi chief minister was arrested on March 21.

While interacting with party supporters, Kejriwal said if the people press 'Jhaadu' button (AAP symbol), he wouldn't go to jail.

"They are saying that I have to go to jail again after 20 days...If you press the 'Jhaadu' button, I would not need to go to jail. I would have to if you press any other button. When you press the button, remember why you are doing it, for Kejriwal's arrest or freedom. They are saying '400 paar'... They want 400 seats to end the reservations. If they get the majority, they will end the reservations and the Constitution. There would be no elections, there would be dictatorship," Kejriwal said.

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, who also attended the roadshow appealed the voters to stay united and claimed that his party will win all 13 seats in Punjab.

"Be united. There are elections in Delhi on May 25. Ask your friends and relatives there to vote. There is a slogan in Delhi, '25 May, BJP gayi'... Punjab's slogan is 'Punjab Banega Hero, 13-0'. All of your love must be a result of our good deeds from the past life. Otherwise, after shaking hands with anyone from Akali Dal, BJP or Congress, you have to count your fingers to see if they have not taken any of them. Don't keep any hopes from them," Mann told the gathering.
