Speaking to ABP News right after the picture in Maharashtra became clear that Bharatiya Janata Party-led Mahayuti will come to power in the state with a nearly 2/3rd mandate, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis expressed surprise at the emerging trends, saying, “None of us expected this. It’s beyond our expectations.” Fadnavis, speaking over the phone with ABP News, stated that after about 1.5 hours, representatives from the three alliance parties would convene to plan the day ahead.

“We will hold a press conference and visit the party office,” he said.
Regarding the selection of the next chief minister, Fadnavis emphasized that the decision would be made collectively. “The next CM will be decided with all three parties sitting together,” he added.
Fadnavis also shared his plans to travel to Nagpur later in the day.

BJP-Shiv Sena (Shinde)-NCP (Ajit Pawar) Gets 2/3rd Majority
At noon, the Mahayuti alliance is leading on 224 Maharashtra assembly seats. Congress-Shiv Sena (UBT)-NCP (Sharad Pawar) also known as Maha Vikash Aghadi, is just leading on the 53 Maharashtra assembly seats while others are leading on 11 seats.
