Adityanath To Contest From Gorakhpur After Speculation Over Mathura & Ayodhya

Yogi Adityanath's intent to contest the upcoming UP elections was being discussed for quite some time now in the political circle.

It was earlier being said that Yogi may contest from Mathura seat, as he had called this his dream.

There was also speculation that Adityanath will run from Ayodhya. The action was seen by the party as a method to reinforce the Hindutva message and galvanise the cadre, especially since the Ram temple project was already well underway.

However, CM Yogi Adityanath has finally announced that he will be contesting the UP Polls 2022 from his old constituency Gorakhpur.
