UP Board Exam 2019: Uttar Pradesh Board Exams 2019 will begin from February 7 for both class 10 and class 12 students and will be conducted till March 2 next year. The exams will be concluded in 16 days indicating that the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, scheduled for April-May, will be held on time. The announcement was made by the Uttar Pradesh government on Monday. Earlier, UP Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma informed about the same, however, no official announcement has yet been made by the board on the official website upmsp.edu.in. Earlier this month, Home Minister Rajnath Singh had also ruled out the possibility of holding general elections before the slated schedule.

UP Board has been in the limelight for delays in exam schedules and cheating during the tests. In 2018, the government had taken several precautionary measures to check unfair practices during the board exams. Shockingly, almost 10 lakh students had dropped out of board exams in 2018 due to the strict steps were taken by the state government. It is expected that in 2019 too the government would keep a strict check on exam practices.
