UPSC Reopens Application Window For Vice-Principal in Directorate Of Education For Both Arms Affected Candidates

The application Window for the recruitment of Vice Principals in the Directorate of Education Delhi is reopened for BA (Both Arms Affected) candidates) from December 1 to December 9, 2022.

The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) has reopened the application window for the post of Vice Principal in the Directorate of Education Delhi. The application window has been opened again for “Both Arms Affected (BA) Candidates” only. The application window will remain open from December 1 to December 9, 2022. No alterations in the exam dates and the written exam for the post of Vice Principal in the Directorate of Education Delhi will be held as scheduled on December 11, 2022. 

A recent notification published on the official UPSC website - upsc.gov.in notified about the reopening of the application window. Earlier this year, the UPSC invited applications for the recruitment of 131 Vice Principals (45 male and 86 female) from May 28 to June 16, 2022. However, as per the official notification, the UPSC has reopened the online application window for BA (Both Arms) affected candidates, furthering the request of the GNCT (Government of National Capital) Delhi. 

“Consequent to the request of the GNCT of Delhi as per direction of the Court of State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, NCT Delhi in Case No. 2657/1016/2022/06, the Commission has decided the following: 

(a) The Commission shall open the application window for Both Arms affected (BA) applicants from 01.12.2022 to 09.12.2022 (16:59 Hrs) for applying for the aforesaid post. The link for filling out the application is available at https://upsconline.nic.in.

 (b) Only Both Arms affected (BA) applicants shall be eligible to apply during the aforesaid period. 

(c) The date of the Recruitment Test (RT) shall remain as scheduled i.e. 11.12.2022. The details of the Recruitment Test (RT), Scheme, Syllabus, etc. are available on Commission’s Website: www.upsc.gov.in. 

(d) Other terms and conditions of the aforesaid advertisement shall remain unchanged,” read the official notification.
