UPSC CMS Exam 2021: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Wednesday announced that the releasing date of the UPSC Combined Medical Services (CMS) examination notification has been postponed until further notice. A notice regarding this has been uploaded on the commission's official website at upsc.gov.in. 


"The Combined Medical Services Examination, 2021 scheduled to be notified on 05-05-2021, stands deferred till further notice,"  reads the statement flashing on the commission's official website. 


Candidates who wish to apply for the UPSC CMS examination must have passed the MBBS final examination from a recognized institute. A candidate who is yet to appear for the Final M.B.B.S. Examination may also apply for the UPSC CMS examination.


Candidates will have to pay the registration fee of Rs 200 either by depositing the money in any of the SBI branches by cash or via SBI net banking facility or through Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card. The Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted from the payment of the application fee. 


The UPSC CMS examination will consist of two objective papers. For each paper, the candidates will be given a total duration of two hours. Each paper will carry 250 marks (maximum). Candidates who will clear the written examination will be eligible to appear for the Personality Test, which will carry 100 marks.
