UPPSC PCS Preliminary Examination 2021: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has deferred the UP PCS preliminary examination 2021. The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure in view of the rising number of covid-19 cases in the state and a notice regarding this has been uploaded on the official website of the commission at uppsc.up.nic.in.

According to the notice, the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (Preliminary) Examination 2021 along with Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF)/Range Forest Officer (RFO) Preliminary Exam-2021 have been deferred until further notice. The fresh schedule for the examination will be announced soon on the official website of the commission. The commission had scheduled to conduct the UP PCS preliminary examination from June 13 to 20, 2021.

The examinations are scheduled to be conducted in 23 districts such as Agra, Gorakhpur, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Jaunpur, Saharanpur, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mathura, Meerut, Mirzapur, Muradabad, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Barabanki, Bareilly, Basti, Ghaziabad, Raebareli, and Varanasi.

Most of the commission had already postponed the recruitment examinations in wake of the rising number of coronavirus cases. Recently, the Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) has deferred the CSBC Bihar Police Fireman Recruitment Exam 2021 until further notice.
