UPPRPB SI Recruitment 2021: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) will close the online registration process for the recruitment of Sub Inspector, Platoon Commander, and Fire Officer-II posts in UP Police on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. Candidates who are yet to apply for the UPPRPB SI Recruitment 2021 examination can do so by visiting the official website of the board at uppbpb.gov.in. 


Earlier, the board had extended the online registration process for the UP Police SI Recruitment 2021 from April 30 to May 30, and then to June 15, 2021, in view of the covid-19 pandemic.

The board is conducting the recruitment drive to fill 9534 vacancies, out of which, 9207 vacancies are for UP police sub-inspector (SI) Civil Police, 484 for Platoon Commander, and 23 for PS and Fire Officer. 


Educational Qualification:



  1. For SI/ Platoon Commander: Candidates applying for the position should possess a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized university or its equivalent.

  2. Fire Officer-II: Candidates applying for the position should possess a Bachelor’s Degree (Science) from any recognized university or its equivalent.

Application Fee: 


Candidates will have to pay the registration fee of Rs 400.


Selection Process: 


Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the online written examination followed by the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and document verification.
