UP Board Result 2019 Class 12: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) declared the UP Board Class 10 (High School) and UP Board Class 12 (Intermediate) results on Saturday. More than 32 lakh students had appeared for the class 10 board examinations in UP this year. Of them, 80.07 per cent students cleared the examination. While with passing per cent of 83.98 per cent, the girls outnumbered the boys whose passing per cent was just 76.66 per cent.


While Gautam Raghuvanshi topped the Class X exam with 97.17 per cent marks, Tanu Tomar came out as the topper in the Class XII exam with a staggering 97.80 per cent marks.

Speaking to ABP after the declaration of the result, Tanu said that she was proud of her result and added that her feat would inspire students from her school to work harder and achieve loftier heights.

Tanu vividly remembered one of her teachers telling her that she could top the exam, which in turn served as a source of inspiration.

Tanu was escatic after her stupendous feat and hailed the enduring support rendered by her parents, particularly her mother who told her to focus on her studies and kept her away from the household chores. Tanu also hailed praises on her principal and school teachers who arranged for the much required coaching classes which proved to be very useful.

She praised her principal who had arranged for extra classes in June which in turn paid rich dividends.

When asked about what she aspire to become, the topper was quite clear in her mind that she wanted to pursue her higher studies in medicine and become a doctor.
