UP Class 12 Board Exam Cancelled: The Uttar Pradesh Government has decided to cancel the UP Board class 12 board examination 2021 due to the covid-19 pandemic. The decision to cancel the UP Board class 12 board examination was taken after the central government on June 1 canceled the CBSE class 12 board examination 2021 in view of the covid-19 pandemic. 


"For 10th boards, Marks of class 9th and pre boards exams will be considered and an average will be calculated, however, for 12th committee will decide how the results will be evaluated," UP Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma said. 


It is expected that the students of the UP Board class 12 will be evaluated on the basis of the results of class 11th and pre boards examinations conducted by the respective schools. 


The decision to cancel the CBSE class 12 board examination was taken during a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.   


After the meeting, PM Modi on his official Twitter handle wrote, "Government of India has decided to cancel the Class 12 CBSE Board Exams. After extensive consultations, we have taken a decision that is student-friendly, one that safeguards the health as well as future of our youth."
