UP 12th Board Exam: The English paper at the ongoing UP Board High School and Intermediate exam has been canceled as the paper got leaked, sources tell ABP Live.


According to the notice issued, the exam has been canceled due to the possibility of leakage of set- 316 ED and 316 EI papers of the English examination of the second shift on March 30. The Intermediate English paper that was scheduled for today, i.e. March 30, 2022, at 2pm in the following 24 districts only has been cancelled:

6. Bagpat
7. Badaun
8. Shahjahanpur
9. Unnao 
10. Sitapur
11. Lalitpur
12. Mahoba
13. Jalaun
14. Chitrakoot
15. Ambedkarnagar
16. Pratapgarh
17. Gonda
18. Gorakhpur
19. Azamgarh
20. Ballia
21. Varanasi
22. Kanpur Dehat
23. Etah
24. Shamli

The exam will take place as scheduled in the rest of the districts. Previously, the Uttar Pradesh government had warned that the stringent National Security Act (NSA) will be slapped against those found using unfair means during the exams.  Now, it has to be seen what action does the UP Board takes in the case of this paper leak.


The class 10, 12 examinations for students of the Uttar Pradesh Board began on Thursday. Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Sikhsa Parishad (UPMSP) is holding these exams in two shifts.


As per PTI, a total of 27,81,654 students registered for Class 10 exams this year, of which 12,28,456 are female students and 15,53,198 are boys.


Meanwhile, a total of 24,11,035 students have registered for Class 12 this year, of which 10,86,835 are female and 13,24,200 are male students.
