UP 10th 12th Board Exams 2024 To Begin From February 22, Dates Announced

As per the official circular released by the UPMSP, the UP Board Class 10, 12 Exams will be held from February 22 to March 9, 2024.

The UPMSP has announced the dates of the UP Board Exams 2024. As per the official announcement, the Uttar Pradesh Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams 2024 will begin on February 22, 2024. UP Board Secretary Divyakant Shukla took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the official notice from the Office of the Secretary, UPMSP (Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad). As per the office notice shared by the UPMSP Secretary, the UP Board Exam for both Class 10 as well as Class 12 will be held from February 22 to March 9, 2023.

Notably, the UPMSP has framed the UPMSP 10th, 12th Board Exam Time Table 2024 considering the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections next year. With the UP Board Exams 2024 concluding on March 9, 2024, the exams will be wrapped up before the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. The UP Board Exam next year will be conducted on a total of 12 working days. Earlier, in the wake of the elections next year, the Election Commission also sought Board Exams Schedule 20204 from all boards. 

As scheduled, the UP Class 10 Board Exams 2024 will begin with the Hindi paper on February 22, while the UPMSP 12th Board Exams 2024 will begin with the Military Science paper on the very same day. Considering the fact that the UPMSP will conclude the UP Board Exams 2024 by March 9, 2023, it is expected that the notification for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 shall be released after March 9, 2024. 

As per the information shared by UPMSP Secretary Divyakant Shukla, a total of 55,08,206 candidates have registered for the UP Board Exams 2024, class 10 and class 12 combined. While 29,47,324 candidates have registered for the UPMSP Matric Exams 2024, a total of 25,60,882 candidates have registered for the UPMSP 12th Board Exams 2024. Last year, a total of 58,84,634 candidates registered for UP Board 10th, 12th Exams. Due to the strict approach towards malpractices in exams by the board, there has been a dip of 3,76,428 candidates in the UP Board Exams 2024.
