NTA yesterday declared the final answer key for 81 subjects and cutoff with the result cum scorecard.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the UGC-NET, June 2020 Examination in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode between 24 September and 13 November 2020 for 8,60,976 registered candidates, covering 81 subjects in 12 examination days with two shifts each examination day. Out of 8,60,976 registered candidates, 5,26,707 candidates appeared the said examination.

Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 were conducted online without any breaks. In 3 hours, candidates could switch from Paper 1 to Paper 2 as there was no separate time allocated for each.

There was no negative marking for wrong answers and all the questions were compulsory. The difficulty level of the questions in Paper 1 was termed as being 'Moderate' and for Paper 2  they were 'Moderate to Difficult'.

Steps To Follow For Accessing Result


Step 1: Get to the official website of UGC NET: www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the result 2020 page hyperlink.

Step 3: UGC NET 2020 login page will appear on the screen.

Step 4: Enter the UGC NET 2020 application form number followed by the date of birth and the CAPTCHA code on screen.

Step 5: Click on submit.

Step 6: UGC NET result cum scorecard will be displayed.

Step 7: Download the soft copy and take a print out for future reference.

JRF Score

The JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) Score is valid for three years from the date of issue of the JRF Award Letter. However, for those who have already joined M.Phil./Ph.D., the date on which they have commenced the JRF Fellowship shall be from the date of declaration of NET result or date of their joining, whichever is later.
