UGC NET Exam 2020: Students waiting for the UGC NET admit cards may get relief soon as it is expected that the National Testing Agency(NTA) will release the hall tickets today. Although the testing agency has not confirmed any date, the official notification says that the admit cards will be made available 15 days before the exams. Once released the students can access the hall tickets in the official websites- nta.ac.in and ugcnet.nta.nic.in


The NTA had also extended the application correction deadline and reopened the window for candidates who wanted to make corrections in their particulars mentioned in the application form such as the choice of exam centres, or change the photograph and signature. The application forms were accepted up to 5 pm on Wednesday, September 2nd. Now that the window has closed it is expected that the NTA will release the admit card soon.

UGC NET 2020 Exams will be conducted by NTA in 81 subjects at different Exam Centers across India to determine the eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or Assistant Professor only in various Indian Universities/ Colleges/ Institutions recognised by UGC.

Even though this year the circumstances are different, students should note that the NTA has not announced any change to the syllabus or pattern of exams. The exam will comprise two papers Paper I and II containing multiple-choice questions (MCQs). It is possible that the NTA may release detailed instructions for the exam days. For the ongoing JEE exams and the upcoming NEET exams, several safety measures have been put in place.

Here’s how to download the hall tickets

Step 1: Visit the official website of NTA UGC NET, ugcnet.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the activated link that says UGC NET 2020 admit card

Step 3: A new window will open where the Registered Candidates are required to sign in..

Step 4: Fill the required details such as Application Number, Date of Birth, and Captcha Code.

Step 5: Download the Admit Card and take out the Print Copy of the same for future use
