The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration window for the December edition of the UGC NET Exam today, January 17. Those who are yet to apply for UGC NET December 2022 exam can submit their application forms on the official website of UGC at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The window will close at 5 pm but candidates can submit the application fees till 11:50 pm tomorrow, January 18, 2023.
As per the notification, Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. Under no circumstances, candidates will be allowed to fill more than one Application Form. Strict action will be taken, even at a later stage,
against such candidates who have filled more than one Application Form.
The UGC NET December 2022 Exam will be held from February 21 to March 10, 2023. The exam will be conducted in multiple centres across the country in Computer Based Mode.

What Is the UGC NET Exam?
The UGC-NET is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode to award Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/ or Eligibility for Assistant Professorship depending on the aggregate performance of the candidate in Paper-I and Paper-II of UGC-NET.
