New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to extend the date of applying for the UGC NET December 2021 & June 2022 (merged cycles), exam to May 30, 2022. The decision was taken after the last-minute rush on May 20. In a public notice issued on May 24, NTA gave all the information about the updates. Hence, candidates now have time to apply for the UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for Assistant Professor (AP).
Candidates can visit the official website - ugcnet.nta.nic.in, to submit their application form.
This announcement was made by the UGC Chairman through his official Twitter account. “In pursuant to representations from the candidates, regarding submission of online application form for UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles), it has been decided to extend the last date for submission and fee payment to 30 May 2022,” he tweeted.

- Successful Final Transaction of Application Fee - May 30, 2022 (upto 11:50 P.M)
- Correction window - May 31, 2022 to June 1, 2022 (up to 09:00 P.M.)
