As there has been a considerable delay, candidates are eagerly waiting for the results. Looking at past trends, usually, the results are declared within 25 days of the exam. Last year while June exams concluded by June 28 the results were announced by July 5. Similarly, December exams were over by December 6, and the results were out by December 31.

It is therefore expected that the NTA will announce the final results soon. This year both Paper 1 and Paper 2 were conducted online without any breaks. In 3 hours, candidates could switch from Paper 1 to Paper 2 as there was no separate time allocated for both. All the questions were compulsory and there was no negative marking for wrong answers. How To Check Results
Step 1: Get to the official website of UGC NET 2020: www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the result 2020 page hyperlink.
Step 3: UGC NET 2020 login page will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Enter the UGC NET 2020 application form number followed by the date of birth and the CAPTCHA code on screen.
Step 5: Click on submit.
Step 6: UGC NET result cum scorecard will be displayed.
Step 7: Download the soft copy and take a print out for future reference.
It is common for the result websites to crash due to overwhelming traffic on site upon result announcement. Candidates are advised to be patient if such a situation arises - you can keep checking the portal at regular intervals to know when the website is back.
