TS PGECET 2023: Application Deadline Extended Till May 5 - Check Details

Interested and eligible candidates can now submit their TS PGECET 2023 Applications till May 5, 2023, on pgecet.tsche.ac.in.

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has extended the TS PGECET Registration Deadline till May 5, 2023. Interested and eligible candidates who are yet to submit their applications for TS PGECET (Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test) 2023 are advised to do the same on pgecet.tsche.ac.in, before the deadline ends. As per the previous schedule, the TS PGECET Registration Process was scheduled to be closed on April 30. However, the council notified about the deadline extension through an official notice on its website. 

“The last date for Registration and submission of the online application form without late fee is Extended up to 05.05.2023,” reads the official notice on the TSCHE website. Candidates must also note that following the closure of TS PGECET 2023 Applications, As per the official schedule, the TS PGECET 2023 Exam will be held from May 29 to June 1, 2023. The TS PGECET is an annual state-level exam conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University for shortlisting students for admissions into various post graduate programmes in Engineering, Architecture, and Pharmacy. 

Candidates may also note that they could apply for more than one test subject in the TS PGECET 2023 Application. While applying, General and EWS category candidates will be required to pay a TS PGECET 2023 Application Fee of Rs 1100, while SC/CT/PwD candidates will only have to pay an application fee of Rs 600 for a single subject. For additional test subject papers, candidates will have to pay an additional fee per paper. 

Moreover, in the official TS PGECET 2023 Notification, the TSCHE has also notified that “The vacant seats after admitting GATE/GPAT qualified candidates will be filled with the candidates based on the Rank/percentile score secured in the TS PGECET- 2023 Entrance Test.” “A separate notification will be issued for GATE/GPAT Candidates for registration to have admission into M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Pharm. / M.Arch. / Graduate Level Pharm.D (P.B.) (Full Time) courses,” the notice added further.
