The Railway Recruitment Board’s much awaited Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) exam, Group D, ministerial and Isolated Category post exams among others are set to commence from December 15. The Computer based exam for isolated and ministerial categories will be held from December 15 to 18. As many as 1.03 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the exam for the 1,663 vacancies.

The non-technical popular category (NTPC) exam will be conducted between December 18 and March 2021. A total of 1.26 crore candidates have applied for 35,208 posts.

Exams for RRC level 1 posts including jobs for track maintainers, points main and various level 1 employee roles will be conducted between April first week and June next year.

The RRB Group D exam, notified in 2018, was held in 152 shifts with 1,64,026 candidates per shift. A total of 1,89,82,719 candidates had registered for the exam.

Candidates can access the detailed exam schedule on the official website of the RRBs. Candidates will be informed about the exam city and dates before the admit cards are issued. Admit cards or the hall tickets of the exam will be released on the website 4 days before the commencement of the exam.

The marks obtained by the candidates will be normalised and final merit list will be decided. This time candidates have been asked to write a paragraph of self-declaration on the admit card. For this purpose, a blank space will be available in the admit card.
