RRB ALP, Technician 2018: In an important notification for the Railway job aspirants, Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has postponed the second stage exam date for ALP and Technician posts. RRB has notified this on the official website rrb.gov.in. The exam was earlier scheduled to be conducted on December 12, 2018, across the nation. However, now the exam will be conducted on December 24, 2018.

As per a press note, RRBs have “received representations requesting postponement of 2nd Stage CBT on account of clashing of dates with the CBT for CEN 02/2018 and/or academic examinations. In view of the above, the 2nd stage CBT scheduled earlier from 12th December is postponed and shall now start from 24th December 2018.”



Meanwhile, the admit cards that were due to release on December 2, 2018 are also adjourned. The candidates can download their examination city intimation 10 days prior to the actual day of the examination. While the E-call letter will be available 4 days prior to the examination date. Candidates will be informed to download their E-call letter through SMS, e-mail and also notice on the website of RRB.

A total of 5,88,605 candidates have been shortlisted for the 2nd stage examination according to the official statement released by the Board. The first stage examination was conducted on September 04, 2018 and 36 lakh candidates appeared in the exam. on November 2, the result of the first stage was declared.

RRB ALP 2018 examination will fill up 64,371 posts of Technicians and Assistant Loco Pilots all over the country. The 2nd stage examination will have two parts- Part A & Part B. Part A will have 90 minutes duration and Part B will comprise of 60 minutes.
