The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, UPMSP has declared the UP Board Result 2024 for class 10th and class 12th today April 20, 2024. This year, 89.55% of students passed in class 10 and 82.60% of students passed in class 12. In class 10, girls achieved a pass percentage of 93.40%, surpassing boys whose pass percentage stands at 86.05%. Similarly in the class 12 exam, the overall pass percentage for girls stands at 88.42%, marking a significant lead of 10.64 percentage points over boys.
Last year, the UP board result was declared on April 25 for the exams, which were conducted between February 16 and March 4, 2023. According to the official notification, the UP board will declare the results via a press conference. Alongside the UP board results, the officials will announce the pass percentage, list of toppers, and other details during the press conference. Students are advised to have their UP Board class 10th and 12th roll numbers handy to check their results.
The UPMSP will conduct the UP board compartment exam 2024 in July, and the results of the exam will be announced online at the official website at upmsp.edu.in in August 2024. Class 10 compartment exam will be conducted in the morning shift from 8 am to 11:15 am, while Class 12 compartment exam will held in the afternoon shift from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. Last year, 86.64% of boys and 93.34% of girls passed their class 10 exams in the UP Board. For class 12, the passing rates were 69.34% for boys and 83% for girls.

According to UP Board Secretary Dibyakant Shukla, UPMSP’s guiding principles have been quality education, cheat-free exams, and fair evaluation. According to Shukla, the UP Board wrapped up the evaluation in a record 12 working days, the quickest time ever, due to continual surveillance of all exam centres during the examination.
