New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education announced CBSE 10th Result 2022 on Friday on its official website at cbseresults.nic.in/ . The CBSE class 10th exam was conducted between April 26 and May 24, 2022 in 7405 centres across the country with students appearing from a total of 22,731 registered schools.
With an overall pass percentage of 94.40 per cent, girl students outperformed their counterparts by 1.41 per cent, as per the CBSE
Region wise, Trivandrum logged the highest pass percentage with 99.68 per cent followed by Bengaluru with a pass percentage of 99.22 per cent. Of the 14 regions that the Board has divided, Delhi East region recorded the lowest pass percentage with 86.96 per cent.
The other CBSE regions recorded following pass percentages: Chennai (98.97%), Ajmer (98.14%), Patna (97.65%), Pune (97.41%), Bhubaneswar (96.46%), Panchkula (96.33%), Noida (96.08%), Chandigarh (95.38%), Prayagraj (94.74%), Dehradun (93.43%), Bhopal (93.33%).
In the overall Delhi Region 86.55 per cent students cleared the exam this year which was lower than the percentage of students who cleared the exam last year which was 98.19 per cent. As per the CBSE, pass percentage in foreign schools was 97.29 per cent this year.
CBSE Class 12th Results Declared
Earlier in the day, CBSE Class 12th result was also declared where 92.7 per cent students cleared the exam. Notably, girl students outperformed boys by 3.29 per cent. As per the CBSE, their overall pass percentage is 94.54 per cent, while boys secured 91.25 per cent.
The Board this year decided not to release the toppers’ list.
