According to the 2024 edition of the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Global MBA Rankings, released on October 25, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore has been recognised as the top business school in India and is ranked 48th globally. Notably, IIMB is the sole Indian institution to secure a place in the global top 50 list. This was followed by IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta in second and third places among B-Schools from the country and 53rd and 59th ranks in the global list.










The Indian School of Business, with campuses in Hyderabad and Mohali, secured the 78th position in the QS rankings, making it the fourth-ranked institution in India. Following closely in the rankings are IIM Indore, IIM Lucknow, and IIM Udaipur, all falling within the 151-200 band.


Notably, the top three positions in this year's QS rankings are occupied by institutions from the United States, with Stanford Graduate School of Business at 1st place, followed by Penn (Wharton) at 2nd, and Harvard Business School at 3rd.
