Mumbai:  Newly inducted Shiv Sena member and former Congress leader Priyanka Chaturvedi expressed elation on Tuesday over her son securing 96% in the ICSE Class X results. Chaturvedi took to Twitter to announce, “And the boy has made me proud with 96%! Groups hug to all mums from my son’s tenth grade who made this shared journey helpful and the stress lighter! To all the ICSE students who have got their 10th results today, my best wishes and congratulations!”


Yesterday, the Shiv Sena leader said she was “nervously” waiting for her her son’s ICSE 10th results and gave a big shout out to all the CBSE students for having done well.

Boosting the morale of students, she also said in her tweet, “Remember, marks do not determine your knowledge,wisdom&intellect. You are the shapers of your destiny, make it happy!”

According to reports, Mumbai's Juhi Rupesh Kajaria and Muktsar's Manhar Bansal topped class 10 ISCE exam with 99.60 per cent while Kolkata's Dewang Kumar Agarwal and Bengaluru's Vibha Swaminathan topped class 12 ISC examination with 100 per cent marks.


On Monday, Union minister Smriti Irani, who was facing a poll test in her constituency Amethi, had her daughter's CBSE class 10 results bring joy. Her daughter scored 82 per cent in class 10.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the class 10 results on Monday with 91.1 per cent candidates clearing the exam.

"10th board results out . Daughter scored 82%. Proud that inspite of challenges she has done well. Way to go Zoe," Irani tweeted.

The Union Textile Minister had last week took to twitter to share her excitement saying "Ok saying it out loud proud of my son Zohr..not only did he come back with a bronze medal from the World Kempo Championship also scored well in 12 th boards. Best of 4 91% .. special yahoo for 94% in economics.. Maaf karna ,today I'm just a gloating Mom".
