Oil India Recruitment 2021: The Oil India Limited (OIL) has invited applications for the recruitment of Assistant Mechanic and other posts on its official website. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions in a prescribed format and appear for the walk-in interview on the scheduled dates.
The OIL will conduct the walk-in interview from May 24 to June 22, 2021. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 119 vacancies, out of which, 31 vacancies are for Contractual Assistant Mechanic-ICE, 20 for Contractual Gas Logger, 17 each for Contractual Assistant Mechanic-Pump, and Contractual Drilling Topman, 10 each for Contractual Assistant Rig Electrician, and Contractual Chemical Assistant, 5 each for Contractual Electrical Supervisor, and Contractual Drilling Rigman, and 4 for Contractual Drilling Headman.
"Candidates will have to register themselves for the Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment(s) at the venue compulsorily between 07:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Under no circumstance, candidate(s) will be allowed to register beyond the timings," reads the official notification.
"The pass marks of the Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment(s) will be a minimum of 50%. The final selection from among the candidates who have appeared and secured the pass marks of a minimum 50% in the Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment(s) will be only on the basis of merit as per the marks obtained in the Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment(s)," further reads the notice.
Age Limit:
Candidates belonging to the general category should be between 18 to 35 years old, while the SC/ST candidates must be between 18 to 40 years old. For aspirants from OBC (NCL) category, the age limit is between 18 to 38 years.
