There was no negative marking for wrong answers and all the questions were compulsory. The difficulty level of the questions in Paper 1 was termed as being 'Moderate' and for Paper 2 they were 'Moderate to Difficult'.
Candidates can check the released category wise cut off list for all the subjects under UGC NET 2020 Exam. In order to qualify for ‘JRF and Eligibility for Assistant Professor’ and for ‘Assistant Professor’, the General (UR) candidate must have appeared in both the papers and secured at least 40 percent while EWS/SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Transgender are required to score 35 percent.

How To Check Results
Step 1: Get to the official website of UGC NET 2020: www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the result 2020 page hyperlink.
Step 3: UGC NET 2020 login page will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Enter the UGC NET 2020 application form number followed by the date of birth and the CAPTCHA code on screen.
Step 5: Click on submit.
Step 6: UGC NET result cum scorecard will be displayed.
Step 7: Download the soft copy and take a print out for future reference.
